Last updated: January 2026 · In-depth field test across 12 countries
⚡ Quick Verdict
Saily is the clear winner for most travelers in 2026. It offers faster average speeds (87 Mbps vs 62 Mbps), more reliable connections in remote areas, and a simpler top-up system. Airalo remains a budget-friendly option with slightly lower prices on single-country plans, but Saily's superior app experience and 24/7 live chat support justify the small premium. Our pick: Saily for overall performance and peace of mind.

🏆 Why Saily Wins in 2026
Beyond raw speed, Saily's hardware-backed security (eSIM stored in tamper-proof element) and dynamic carrier switching technology picks the strongest local network automatically. This was evident in rural areas of Spain and Thailand where Airalo struggled to find a signal. Saily's transparent data counter in the app is also more accurate than Airalo's (we verified with network logs).
